About the Green Mountain Miniature Horse and Donkey Association
Our Mission
The Green Mountain Miniature Horse and Donkey Association (GMMHDA) is a Vermont-based community dedicated to the promotion, education, and celebration of small equines. We believe in the unique bond between humans and these versatile animals, and we strive to create a supportive network where owners and enthusiasts can share knowledge, resources, and a mutual love for miniature horses and donkeys.
Meet Our 2026 Leadership

Committees & Coordinators
Scholarship Committee
Beginning in 2027, our Scholarship Committee will launch an initiative to provide financial support for youth members. These scholarships are designed to help the next generation of equestrians participate in club-sponsored clinics, fostering skill development and a lifelong passion for small equines.
Event Coordinators
Our coordinators are responsible for the logistics and execution of our most popular gatherings. From organizing our presence in parades and community events, to managing local driving and in-hand clinics and pleasure drives, they ensure every event is safe, educational, and engaging for the community.
What We Do
